As we start a new chapter of a new year, there is much to reflect on as I look back on 2024. Our team hit new goals, achieved our 10th consecutive year of growth and got to work on projects we’ll tell the grandkids about some day. I’m so proud of what has lovingly come to be known as Team Green, and these are just a few of my favorite moments from 2024.
The awards spoke for themselves
Resolute picked up some major hardware this year. We earned 10 new Silver Link awards from the Tulsa chapter of the Public Relations Society of America highlighting our work in everything from workforce recruitment marketing campaigns for Tulsa Ports to promoting the Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.
Our very own Lacey Taylor earned the Montez Tjaden Rising Star Award, which recognizes an up-and-coming communications professional. In addition, Resolute earned a spot on the Cowboy 100 for the second year in a row, which compiles the fastest-growing companies owned and led by an OSU graduate (Go Pokes!) across the globe.
We earned a special award for the first time
It’s long been a goal of mine to make it on an Inc. list, so I was pumped when the team rallied around how we could make it happen. That dream finally came true when we landed a spot on Inc Magazine’s Best Workplaces in America.
This highly competitive list is reflective of the culture we’ve built at Resolute, from giving back to area nonprofits to prioritizing employee health and investing in each individual’s growth through mentorship and professional development.
I’m incredibly proud of this person-centered culture that we’ve built, and it shows in the way we work with our clients. Happy employees bring their A-game. Every time.
We worked on high-impact projects to create a bold and purposeful Tulsa
We promoted FC Tulsa, Oklahoma’s premier professional soccer club. We helped unveil Zinc Lake with a Big Dam Party. We introduced Tulsa to Teqball (look it up – you’ll be entertained for hours!). We counseled companies through leadership transitions, product launches and crises. Plus, we helped our clients maintain brand consistency and high visibility.
My favorite moments were huddling in the conference room to come up with a bold new approach or hearing what out-of-the-box idea the team was ready to present to a client. I have a feeling we’ll be adding another armful of awards next year recognizing these efforts!
We invested in making data-driven decisions
One of the reasons our clients work with us is because we are committed to staying on the cutting edge of PR and marketing trends. Our team spent 387 hours last year renewing certifications, attending industry conferences and researching tactics on what moves the needle for clients. Importantly, we continued to invest in software that harnesses digital intelligence so we can make informed, data-driven strategies.
We celebrated 10 years
It’s hard to believe it’s already been a decade since I took the leap to start Resolute. I never could have imagined it would grow into what it is today, and it was an emotional moment to celebrate our anniversary last fall with our friends and family.
Looking back, we’ve had the privilege to work with over 250 different organizations spanning more than 20 industries. Our approach to helping our clients achieve their PR and marketing goals has resulted in 10 years of consecutive growth. It wouldn’t have happened without the trust of our clients. I’m forever grateful to have this much fun doing what I love.
We leveled up with a new office
All of the fantastic growth we’ve experienced over the past decade has led us to a new office space! This move symbolizes more than just a change of address. It’s a reflection of our team’s continued success and bold and purposeful energy.
Our new space, just a block from our previous office, is designed to foster creativity and innovation. It’s a home that matches the bold, purposeful work we strive to create every day for our clients. I can’t wait to see the incredible ideas that will come to life here in the years ahead.
